A Hero's Story was the 18th episode in Season 2 of The Wayans Bros., and the 31st overall series episode; it first aired on The WB Network on February 28 1996. Co-written by Carrie Honigblum & Renee Phillips, the episode was directed by Tony Singletary.

Synopsis[]

Marlon takes credit from Shawn for saving a boy's life after the boy is hit a by a car.

Storyline[]

Shawn rescues a boy hit by a car in front of the Niedermeyer Building. After giving him CPR, Shawn goes to call 911, leaving Marlon with the boy. When the boy regains consciousness, he thinks Marlon saved him. Before Marlon can contradict him, a crowd gathers, cheering his heroism. Caught up in the adulation and subsequent publicity, Marlon starts to believe that he really was the hero --until Pops helps him see the truth.
